Job summary

Bimbo Bakeries USA is seeking a Fleet Mechanic in California to service delivery fleets, perform routine maintenance and tire work, and contribute to safe operations on-site.

Shift is Tue-Sat, 8:30am-5:00pm. Starting pay is $32.90/hr with a comprehensive benefits package, PTO, and opportunities for advancement. Must lift 50 lbs, hold a CA license, and be willing to work weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must have 3 year’s experience in truck service and all tire service or equivalent education.
• Must possess a valid California Driver’s License and able to meet medical card DOT requirements.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Must be willing to work weekends.
• Must be willing to work in the field.
• Must be willing to work holidays as needed.
• Must be proficient in the use of a computer.
• High school diploma/ GED preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• performing lube, oil, and filter changes on company vehicles
• minor maintenance (lights, wipers, etc.)
• replace tires on delivery trucks and large trailers
• dismount, mount, and balance tires of all sizes.
