Candidates should have 3+ years as a Diesel/Fleet/Truck/Heavy Equipment Mechanic, strong diagnostic skills, and experience with preventative maintenance. DOT inspection certification preferred or willing to obtain.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Diesel Mechanic, Fleet Mechanic, Truck Mechanic, or Heavy Equipment Mechanic.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities.
• Experience with preventative maintenance and repairs.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
• Basic computer/tablet skills for maintenance records.
• DOT inspection certification or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on fleet vehicles, trucks, trailers, and equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, brake, tire, and hydraulic issues.
• Troubleshoot diesel and gas-powered equipment problems.
• Service and repair small engine equipment.
• Complete DOT inspections and maintain compliance.
• Document repairs and communicate equipment status.
• Maintain an organized shop and manage parts inventory.
• Coordinate larger repairs with outside vendors when needed.

What You'll Do

What We're Looking For
