Job Description: This position is responsible for the maintenance and repair of all municipal vehicles and will require the individual to diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, perform preventative maintenance, and install specialized emergency equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• 4-5 years of experience in a mechanic role
• Willing to work in a team environment & communicate effectively
• Obtain a State of Illinois Class “A” (CDL) driver’s license with airbrake, and tanker endorsement within 6 months of hire
