Job summary

COAST is seeking a Full-Time Second Shift Fleet Mechanic in Dover, NH to inspect, repair, and service our fleet of 16 minibuses, both on-site and during road calls.

Requirements include a Class B CDL with air brake endorsement and a valid Medical Examiner's Certificate; Passenger Endorsement preferred and must be obtained within six months of hire. Working hours are typically 1:30 PM to 10:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with on-call rotation every other Saturday.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills are required.
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing diesel- and gasoline-powered vehicles.

Fleet Mechanic

Salary Range: $30.00 To $35.00 Hourly

COAST is seeking a skilled Full-Time Second Shift Mechanic to help keep our fleet safe on the road. COAST mechanics inspect, repair, and service our fleet both on-site and during road calls as needed.

• 16 medium and light-duty gasoline-powered minibuses

This position plays an important role in keeping our fleet safe, reliable, and ready for service through routine preventive maintenance, accurate diagnostics, and quality repairs.

Schedule

Applicants must be willing to work assigned shift hours and days, typically Monday through Friday from 1:30 PM to 10:00 PM, and participate in the on-call rotation every other Saturday.

The ideal candidate will:

• Work cooperatively as part of the maintenance team.
• Possess the standard hand tools required to perform the job and have experience using them.
• Have strong communication skills.
• Have relevant experience troubleshooting and repairing diesel- and gasoline-powered vehicles.
• Hold a Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with air brake endorsement and a valid Medical Examiner's Certificate.
• A Passenger Endorsement is preferred. Applicants without one must obtain it within six months of hire.
