Job summary

Minnesota Direct Care and Treatment is seeking a Fleet Management Analyst to join the SPRTC Facilities Management team in St. Peter. You will assist the Grounds and Transportation Supervisor with oversight of the forensic fleet, maintaining records and disseminating data for cost analysis.

Qualifications

  • 1 year of experience or 3 years of support experience in fleet operations, asset management, inventory control or closely related field.
  • Tracking, analyzing, and interpreting operational, financial, or fleet-related data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Maintaining and managing records.
  • Using Microsoft Excel to analyze and track data, prepare reports, and communicate findings.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain all vehicle records and facilitate scheduled and unscheduled maintenance for the State vehicle fleet.
  • Provide information to the Grounds and Transportation Supervisor to inform maintenance costs by area and fiscal period.
  • Assist in tracking and analysis of the Motor pool budget.
  • Provide guidance to Grounds staff regarding repair and maintenance of agency-owned and leased vehicles and equipment.

Direct Care and Treatment (DCT) is seeking a Fleet Management Analyst to join our Facilities Management team at the St. Peter Regional Treatment Center (SPRTC). As a Fleet Management Analyst, you will assist the Grounds and Transportation Supervisor by providing assistance and oversight of the SPRTC Forensic Fleet including record keeping and disseminating data.

Responsibilities Include
  • Maintain all vehicle records and facilitate scheduled and unscheduled maintenance for the State vehicle fleet.
  • Provide information to the Grounds and Transportation Supervisor and others so that they are informed of maintenance costs, by area and/or fiscal period.
  • Assist the Grounds and Transportation Supervisor in the tracking and analysis of the Motor pool budget.
  • Provide guidance to Grounds staff and other shop personnel regarding the repair and maintenance of agency-owned and leased vehicles and equipment.
  • Ensure DCT – St. Peter Campus meets Fleet Management Insurance Standards set up by Risk Management.
  • Occasionally assist with the maintenance of campus grounds, snow removal and other duties to keep the campus safe and clean, when needed.
Minimum Qualifications

To be qualified for and considered for this position, applicants must meet all the minimum qualifications listed below. 1 Year Experience Or 3 Years Of Support Experience In Fleet Operations, Asset Management, Inventory Control Or Closely Related Field. Experience Must Include

  • Maintaining and managing records.
  • Using Microsoft Excel to analyze and track data, prepare reports, and communicate findings.

Note: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business administration, Accounting, Finance or related field may substitute for 1 year of support experience

Preferred Qualifications
  • Maintaining and managing fixed assets that are owned, leased or rented
  • Valid Minnesota Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with airbrake endorsement
  • Knowledge of State of Minnesota asset management principles, procurement, policies and procedures
