Job summary

Penske is hiring a Fleet Maintenance Fueler Washer in West Columbia, SC. You will fuel and wash vehicles, greet customers, and ensure vehicle readiness before they hit the road again. The role offers training, safety-focused culture, and opportunities for career growth within Penske.

Responsibilities include tire and fluid inspections, facility cleanliness, and participation in maintenance tasks under supervision. DOT/OSHA safety policies apply, and drivers must have a valid license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; relevant work experience considered.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work well as part of a team and outdoors.
• Basic mechanical ability and tool usage preferred.
• Must comply with DOT, OSHA and Penske safety policies.
• Willingness to travel near training location.

Responsibilities

• Greeting our customers and making sure they have a great experience as you fuel and wash vehicles.
• Performing vehicle readiness inspections to make sure tires, fluids, and other basic maintenance items are done.
• Helping make sure our facilities are clean, safe environments for our customers and associates.
• Building your skills through training and hands‑on coaching to perform minor repairs such as installing mounted tires, replacing or rotating tires and performing preventive maintenance repairs.
• Completing other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor.
