Job summary

United Rentals is looking for a Fleet Technician II to perform intermediate refurbishment and repair tasks on mobile storage equipment. This role involves working with structural, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems, and requires strong mechanical aptitude.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience with general repairs or demonstrated competency.
• General mechanical aptitude and advanced tool knowledge.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions and technical specifications.
• Strong attention to detail for quality repairs and customer interaction.

Responsibilities

• Perform refurbishment and repair across structural, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Complete general electrical, plumbing, and HVAC tasks independently.
• Document work completed and materials used on work orders.
• Maintain a safe, organized shop and yard.
• Coach and mentor other technicians on basic tasks.
