Job summary

Durham School Services is looking for a Fleet Tech II in Boise, Idaho. You will diagnose and repair medium/heavy vehicles, ensuring the safe transport of students. Responsibilities include conducting preventive maintenance across various systems and maintaining compliance with safety standards.

The ideal candidate has at least three years of experience, proficiency with diagnostic equipment, and must possess essential hand tools. CDL is preferred with training provided for certification.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of light/medium/heavy-duty mechanic repair experience.
• Technical knowledge of major vehicle systems required.
• Valid applicable state license (CDL preferred).

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair automotive and diesel systems.
• Perform engine adjustments, rebuilds, and test drives.
• Keep a safe, organized, and compliant workspace.
