Job summary

Prince Service & Manufacturing in Macon, GA is looking for a Fleet Maintenance Technician to perform preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on our fleet vehicles and mobile equipment to ensure safe, reliable operation. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced industrial environment.

A high school diploma or GED is preferred; technical training in automotive or diesel technology is a plus.

Qualifications

• Perform routine preventative maintenance and repairs on fleet vehicles and mobile equipment.
• Service gas and diesel engines, including oil changes, filter replacements, fluid checks, tire service and brake service.
• Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic and electrical issues and perform necessary repairs.
• Order parts for fleet vehicles and equipment and maintain service records.
• Maintain organized maintenance areas and support other departments as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventative maintenance and repairs on fleet vehicles and mobile equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues and perform necessary repairs.
• Order service and repair parts for fleet vehicles and equipment.
• Maintain organized fleet maintenance building, tools, and work areas.
