Job summary

Care Resources is seeking a Fleet Maintenance Technician to keep the fleet and equipment in high readiness. You will support daily operations of passenger buses, transit vans, and minivans, oversee maintenance coordination, and perform light vehicle maintenance.

Responsibilities include inspections, basic repairs, recordkeeping, and coordinating with Transportation staff to schedule service. Strong driving record and ASE/G1 cert desired.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Possession and maintenance of a valid unrestricted Michigan Chauffeur’s license.
• Experience in preventative maintenance and basic automotive repairs is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine vehicle inspections to identify maintenance needs.
• Do basic vehicle maintenance such as replacing wipers, headlights, filters, batteries, and fuses.
• Maintain electronic records and tracking logs for fleet activities.
• Coordinate with Transportation Manager and dispatchers for maintenance scheduling.
• Respond to vehicle accident scenes and assist with reports and transportation arrangements.
