Job summary

Blackridge Fleet Center in West Valley City, UT is seeking a skilled Fleet Maintenance & Service Repair Technician to maintain and repair commercial fleet vehicles and specialty equipment, upholding our values of respect, integrity, growth, humility, and teamwork.

You’ll work on medium-duty trucks, hydraulic systems, lift gates, cranes, and vocational equipment, delivering precise, high-quality repair and preventative maintenance in a fast-paced shop.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of fleet, medium/heavy-duty truck, or commercial equipment repair experience preferred
• Experience with cab & fleet repair, service bodies, and vocational truck systems
• Familiarity with electrical diagnostics, wiring, and auxiliary equipment installation
• Basic welding and fabrication skills preferred
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, repair manuals, and service bulletins
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• Must be 18 years or older and authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs on fleet vehicles including cab & chassis trucks and specialty upfit equipment
• Diagnose and repair hydraulic systems, lift gates, cranes, hoists, and related components
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems including lighting, control modules, PTO wiring, and auxiliary systems
• Conduct preventative maintenance services on commercial fleet vehicles
• Complete multi-point inspections and document findings accurately
• Communicate repair needs and timelines clearly with service advisors and supervisors
• Ensure all repairs meet company, state, federal, and manufacturer safety standards
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Assist with installation and service of truck-mounted equipment as needed
• Support team members and help train less experienced technicians when appropriate
