Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of fleet maintenance supervisory experience in a diesel repair environment.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on automotive, truck, or bus maintenance and repair experience.
• Experience managing maintenance operations, technician performance, workflow, and repair scheduling.
• Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and fleet compliance requirements.
• Experience overseeing parts inventory, purchasing activities, vendor relationships, and maintenance budgets.
• Proficiency with computerized maintenance management systems and vehicle diagnostic software.
• Strong planning, organizational, decision-making, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work flexible schedules as business needs require.

Responsabilités

• Lead maintenance technicians and shop personnel to maintain efficient workflow, repair quality, and fleet readiness.
• Oversee preventive maintenance programs, repair scheduling, and unscheduled repairs to support vehicle reliability and uptime.
• Coordinate and participate in diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on medium- and heavy-duty vehicles, including diesel-powered equipment.
• Ensure maintenance operations comply with applicable DOT requirements, safety regulations, and company maintenance standards.
• Manage work orders, maintenance records, repair histories, and related information through the EAM system.
• Oversee parts inventory, purchasing activities, vendor relationships, and maintenance budgets to support cost-effective operations.
• Plan and prioritize daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance activities while coordinating with operations and transportation teams.
