Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires Associate’s Degree in Heavy Truck and Diesel; Bachelor's in Logistics preferred.
• Minimum five years of fleet maintenance experience and two years of supervisory management.
• CDL A license; relevant certifications (Federal 608, 609, Brake Inspections) preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, leadership, analytical, and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint; hands-on and cross-department collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Supervise corrective maintenance activities, ensuring safety and compliance standards.
• Inspect work environment, manage vendor relations, and assist in equipment specifications and purchases.
• Provide technical recommendations, manage labor contracts, and document activities.
• Handle union grievances, driver issues, and departmental reports.
• Monitor KPIs, manage DOT compliance, and coordinate safety meetings.
• Investigate injuries, manage staffing, training, performance, and department goals.

Physical Requirements:
