Job summary

Fraley and Schilling in Knoxville, TN, seeks a Utility Worker (I) to perform basic shop maintenance with a safety-first mindset, ensuring our fleet is well-maintained and ready for operation.

You will assist with fueling, support vehicle inspections, clean equipment, and prepare for orientation and reseating, plus tire changes and driving when required, all while following safety regulations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Basic computer skills and record-keeping ability.
• Ability to provide three professional references.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic maintenance tasks in the shop to uphold safety and efficiency.
• Assist with fueling trucks and equipment for operation readiness.
• Support tractor and trailer inspections to meet safety standards.
• Perform routine cleaning in shop and on trucks.
• Prepare equipment for Orientation and reseating.
• Change tires on trucks and trailers as needed.
• Drive company vehicles when required, following safety rules.
• Complete other duties as assigned by supervisors.
