Fraley and Schilling in Knoxville, TN, seeks a Utility Worker (I) to perform basic shop maintenance with a safety-first mindset, ensuring our fleet is well-maintained and ready for operation.

You will assist with fueling, support vehicle inspections, clean equipment, and prepare for orientation and reseating, plus tire changes and driving when required, all while following safety regulations.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Basic computer skills and record-keeping ability.
• Ability to provide three professional references.

Responsabilidades

Position Summary

As a Utility Worker (I) at Fraley and Schilling, you will be responsible for performing various basic maintenance tasks in our shop. Your primary objective will be to uphold our core value of safety first while supporting our maintenance operations. This role is crucial in ensuring that our equipment is well-maintained, clean, and ready for use, contributing to the overall efficiency and safety of our fleet.

Assist with fueling trucks and other equipment to ensure readiness for operation.

Support tractor and trailer inspections, ensuring that vehicles meet safety and operational standards.

Perform routine cleaning duties in the shop and on trucks to maintain a clean and organized workspace.

Prepare equipment for Orientation and reseating, ensuring it is in optimal condition for new drivers.

Change tires on trucks and trailers as required.

Drive company vehicles when necessary, adhering to all safety and traffic regulations.

Complete other duties as assigned by supervisors or management.

Additional Information: This position may require physical effort, including lifting, bending, and prolonged periods of standing. Flexibility with work hours may be necessary to accommodate the needs of the shop and equipment.
