Qualifications

• Review data and recommend changes to improve aircraft safety, reliability, and capability.
• Maintain compliance with FAA regulations and Delta's TOPP.
• Travel to hangar, line, shop and planning groups to gather details for projects.
• Address configuration, maintenance procedures, and parts interchangeability issues.
• Use safety risk management tools to drive safety improvements.
• Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to improve reliability and safety.
• Support entry into service of new aircraft by coordinating activities across teams.
• Communicate fleet initiatives with internal partners and leaders.
• Stay current on fleet issues driving key performance metrics.

Responsibilities

• Develop timely repairs and engineering substantiations for aircraft structures and systems.
• Maintain on-time performance goals while supporting MCC with new solutions.
• Provide on-wing and off-wing propulsion support, and oversee engine inductions and repairs.
• Investigate engine performance drivers and coordinate with OEMs and repair stations.
• Support other groups as technical experts on components across fleets.
