Job summary

Transport Refrigeration Services, Inc. is seeking a Fleet Maintenance Operations Manager in Mebane, NC to lead a high-performing team across shifts.

You will oversee diesel shop operations for trucks, trailers, and refrigeration units, ensuring safety, efficiency and exceptional customer service. The role requires 3+ years in a supervisory fleet role, strong communication skills, and hands-on support during peak times.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a management or supervisory role in a large fleet, diesel, or trailer repair shop.
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines, trailer systems and transport refrigeration units.
• Experience with DOT and OSHA compliance and repair procedures.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop shop teams across multiple shifts.
• Oversee technician training and performance reviews.
• Manage shop scheduling, workloads and project coordination.
• Maintain safety programs and conduct inspections.
• Drive efficiency improvements and vendor/customer relationships.
