Meadow Gold is seeking a Fleet Maintenance Mechanic to perform routine maintenance and repairs on a range of fleet vehicles in line with DOT and company regulations. You will diagnose mechanical and electronic issues using diagnostic systems to identify root causes and ensure reliable operation.

Shift: Monday-Friday, 9:00am-5:30pm. Benefits include a union pension, comprehensive healthcare, paid sick leave, and opportunities for career growth within the DFA network.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Refrigeration license preferred.
• Experience with INSITE, NAVSTAR, and service tools.
• Experience with brake systems; Bendix/WABCO certification preferred.
• Must pass pre-employment screenings (drug, background, criminal).
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in dusty environments.
• Flexible hours including overtime, weekends, and holidays.

Responsabilidades

• Perform basic vehicle and preventive maintenance, component replacements, and minor repairs.
• Inspect and repair brakes, steering, transmissions, tires, and related systems.
• Use shop management and electronic systems to complete work orders.
• Diagnose mechanical and electronic problems and identify root causes.
• Interact with drivers to determine nature of complaints.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow SOPs.
