Job summary

Meadow Gold, a farmer-owned DFA brand, is hiring a Fleet Maintenance Mechanic to maintain and repair our fleet in DOT-compliant operations. You will diagnose mechanical and electronic issues using diagnostic systems and identify root causes.

Shift: Monday–Friday, 9:00am–5:30pm. Benefits include competitive pay, a pension retirement plan, and internal career growth opportunities. A high school diploma or GED is preferred; pre-employment screenings apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience with INSITE, DL and NAVSTAR service tools.
• Experience with FWHA / BIT requirements.
• Must pass pre-employment screenings including drug, background and criminal checks.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in dusty, greasy environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic vehicle and preventive maintenance, component replacements, and minor repairs.
• Inspect and repair brakes, steering, transmissions, tires, and other components.
• Use shop management and diagnostic systems to identify root causes.
• Diagnose minor mechanical and electronic problems and perform repairs.
• Complete work orders and paperwork accurately and timely.
