Qualifications

• Requires a high school degree or GED and the ability to read and interpret maintenance manuals.
• Prefer diesel and/or heavy-duty truck maintenance experience and the ability to qualify to perform federal annual inspections and become a certified air brake technician.
• Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs according to company procedures and standards; fulfill required regulatory obligations.
• Operate diagnostic equipment to identify needed repairs and problems.
• Repair fleet equipment including pressure vessels, dry vans, fuel trailers, LP bobtails and fuel tank wagons.
• Ensure tools are available and maintain a safe, clean work environment; follow safety guidelines.
