Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Transportation, Mechanical Engineering, or Automotive Technology or equivalent.
• Five years of transit operations, fleet maintenance, or related work with leadership experience.
• Three years overseeing rolling stock maintenance incl. diesel, gas, hybrid, and battery-electric vehicles.
• Experience with regulatory compliance (FTA, EPA, OSHA or similar).

Responsabilités

• Plan, direct, and coordinate rolling stock maintenance operations for RTD’s bus fleet.
• Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance programs and repair campaigns, budget and staffing.
• Develop and maintain maintenance policies, procedures and documentation; manage budgets and overtime.
• Support labor contract administration and labor relations in line with CBAs and agency policies.
• Participate in new vehicle procurements by contributing to technical specs with maintenance input.
• Collect and analyze maintenance performance metrics to improve reliability and cost efficiency.
• Collaborate with Operations, Safety, Service Planning, Finance, Procurement and other departments to align fleet initiatives.
• Prepare executive-level reporting and presentations for leadership and the Board.
