Job summary

Sarens USA is seeking a Fleet Manager to lead the maintenance strategy for the equipment fleet in Beaumont, Texas. You will coach a skilled team, optimize processes, and ensure compliance with SHEQ standards to drive operational excellence and achieve economic targets.

You will oversee budgets, procurement, and continuous improvement initiatives, reporting to the Country Manager and collaborating with local management to align with business objectives.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in fleet or maintenance management within heavy equipment or industrial sectors.
• Strong knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance processes.
• Ability to manage budgets and optimize procurement.
• Leadership skills to coach and develop teams.
• Familiarity with SHEQ standards and compliance requirements.
• Experience with ERP maintenance systems would be an added advantage.
• Exposure to Lean principles and continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Implement and manage the Group-wide maintenance strategy for all equipment and warehousing.
• Ensure preventive and predictive maintenance to keep equipment fully operational and compliant.
• Drive SHEQ standards and continuous improvement across all activities.
• Prepare and monitor budgets, control costs, and optimise procurement practices.
• Lead and develop a team including Workshop and Warehouse Supervisors.
• Report directly to the Country Manager and functionally to the Regional Fleet Manager.
• Collaborate with the local management team to align with business objectives.
