Job summary

Chesterman Company in Sioux City, Iowa, is seeking a Fleet Maintenance Supervisor to oversee all functions of the fleet maintenance department. You will manage daily maintenance and repair of company vehicles, establish cost records, and work with outside vendors to procure parts. The role requires 2–4 years in fleet management, a valid driver’s license with MVR compliance, and ideally a Class A CDL. The schedule is Monday–Friday 7am–4pm, with extended days as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–4 years of fleet management experience.
• Valid driver’s license with driving record within MVR policy guidelines.
• Class A CDL preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate daily maintenance and repair of company-owned cars, tractors, and trailers.
• Establish and maintain vehicle operating and maintenance cost records.
• Evaluate information to guide vehicle disposal and replacement decisions.
• Determine inventory levels, obtain quotes, and order parts.
• Develop and administer a fleet management program tracking service and replacements.
