Gordon Food Service is seeking a Fleet Maintenance Intern for our fleet shop. This part-time, temporary role supports maintenance tasks under general supervision and helps ensure service continuity.

_ Position Summary: _
Under general supervision performs support tasks in the Fleet Shop as a part time, temporary intern.
_ Essential Functions: _
Completes tasks as directed.
Communicates, collaborates, and acts as a team member with others in order to ensure continuity and coordination of services.
Adheres to the purpose and philosophy of the organization including, but not limited to the cornerstone values and applicable practices of the organization.
Performs other duties as assigned.
_ Knowledge / Skills / Abilities: _
Basic mechanical knowledge with a desire to learn fleet maintenance programs.
Able to follow directions
Able to work in a team environment
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Time management and organizational skills.
Ability and willingness to learn.
_ Equipment / Tools / Technology: _
Requires a high school education or equivalent, or currently in high school. Must be currently enrolled in a classroom college or trade school diesel program.
Must be 18 years or older.
