Responsibilities

• Oversee the scheduling of vehicle maintenance and safety inspections to meet DOT requirements.
• Produce daily reports on production, vehicle status, and estimated time of completion.
• Train employees and monitor progress of newly trained staff.
• Answer questions and advise mechanics on repair procedures.
• Train drivers on TCU operation and truck maintenance.
• Present shop safety training to employees.
• Place orders for fuel, scrap metals, refuse, and other vendors.
• Maintain payroll records including time adjustments, overtime, and performance reviews.
• Enforce company policies and progressive discipline.
