Fleet Maintenance Foreman - Fontana--2nd Shift

Job Overview

The Fleet Maintenance Foreman is a key position at Jensen Precast. You’ll lead the activities of the fleet maintenance department to ensure that fleet and heavy equipment are available, dependable, and safe at all times. Additionally, you’ll oversee the fleet preventive maintenance (PM) program.

Responsibilities
  1. Lead the activities of the fleet maintenance team.
  2. Troubleshoot employee and fleet maintenance issues; assist drivers with vehicle problems.
  3. Train employees on equipment operation, safety procedures, and company policies; monitor understanding and re-train as necessary.
  4. Maintain a safe, organized work environment; ensure proper tool storage and routine housekeeping.
  5. Inspect, diagnose, repair, operate, and maintain diesel trucks, forklifts, and other equipment.
  6. Verify safety and compliance during work inspections.
  7. Keep accurate records of inspections and maintenance activities.
  8. Report equipment issues to supervisors.
Qualifications

We’re looking for someone enthusiastic, motivated, and hands-on. Experience with diesel engines, brake systems, hydraulics, and basic tools is essential. Familiarity with DOT requirements is preferred. Safety consciousness and a pride in completing tasks are important. Certifications such as ASE, CDL, and Forklift Certification are a plus.
