Job summary

Jetvia is seeking a Director of Maintenance to lead the maintenance organization for the Learjet 60/60XR fleet, ensuring airworthiness, safety and regulatory compliance. This leader will drive reliability and build a high-performing team across hangar maintenance, avionics, planning, AOG support and records.

The role requires FAA A&P, strong leadership, and experience in a Part 135/121 environment. Travel to field locations is expected as needed.

Qualifications

• FAA Airframe and Powerplant certification required.
• Proven leadership with responsibility for people, standards and performance.
• Experience in high-demand aviation maintenance environments (Part 135/121).
• Strong ability to perform root-cause analysis and drive corrective actions.
• Ability to communicate with technicians, pilots, FAA inspectors and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead the maintenance organization for Learjet 60/60XR fleet.
• Oversee hangar maintenance, avionics, planning, vendor management, AOG support, records and reliability.
• Set and enforce standards for workmanship, documentation and inspections.
• Improve aircraft availability, reliability and turn-around times through disciplined planning.
• Build internal technical capability, especially in avionics and complex troubleshooting.
• Develop technicians and leadership who own the aircraft and Jetvia's standards.
• Monitor fleet status and KPIs; communicate priorities and risks to executives.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
