Job summary

Elevate Jet in Plano, TX seeks a Vice President of Maintenance to lead our Part 145 MRO operations, ensuring aircraft are ready for dispatch and coordinating AOG support. This role reports to EVP, Director of Operations and requires strong regulatory knowledge and leadership.

Responsibilities include overseeing maintenance planning, managing staff and external partners, maintaining logs and compliance with FAA and EASA where applicable, and delivering timely fleet status reporting.

Qualifications

• FAA A&P license is required with Inspection Authorization preferred.
• 10 years’ experience in aircraft maintenance operations with at least 3 years in FAA Part 145 leadership.
• 3+ years experience with FAA Part 135 operations preferred.
• Fluency in English with strong writing skills for maintenance documentation.
• High School diploma required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance planning, scheduling, and completion of inspections, repairs, and maintenance schedules.
• Coordinate AOG maintenance support and liaise with Flight Operations to minimize downtime.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with FAA/EASA requirements and maintain accurate logs and records.
• Manage staff and third-party providers and develop bench strength for future leadership.
• Provide regular fleet status reports and develop 30/90/annual maintenance forecasts.
