Blackwood runs a fleet of boom trucks that deliver and handle utility poles. The trucks carry roughly 1,300 active fault codes that nobody reviews truck by truck. Maintenance data is split across Samsara (telematics, fault codes, engine hours), Fleetio (maintenance records) and purchasing systems (Rippling, Bill). Parts and service are bought from many providers across locations with no common standard, so cost per truck and per repair can't be compared, and downtime isn't tied to its cause.
This job is about getting that data organized. Using an internal engineering review tool connected to those systems, you pull the data and turn it into clear findings: what costs the most money and truck hours, why, and where the process breaks down. Acting on those findings comes second, if time allows.
Someone who can use and provide feedback to new prototype data review tools and maintain a high level of organization based on tags. This person will constantly provide feedback to improve the data review tools while using the tool to progress data collection.
Blackwood Solutions is an equal opportunity employer.
