Position Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Fleet Maintenance Coordinator to support our Delivery Transportation Team in a fast-paced fleet shop environment. This role is responsible for coordinating repairs, ordering and receiving parts, managing inventory, and assisting technicians with operational needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Answer phone calls and coordinate emergency roadside service for fleet vehicles

  • Order, receive, and stock parts from vendors; issue and manage purchase orders

  • Track inventory and enter receipts into the inventory system

  • Communicate and collaborate with floor technicians and the fleet manager

  • Monitor emails, process repair requests, and schedule preventive maintenance (PM)

  • Maintain accurate documentation and assist with invoice review and expense tracking

  • Generate and distribute reports as needed

Required Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or technical school equivalent

  • Basic understanding of fleet mechanics (tractors/trailers)

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)

  • Experience in inventory control or stockroom operations

  • Strong communication skills and team-oriented mindset

Preferred Experience:
  • Background in automotive or equipment repair coordination

  • Familiarity with auto/equipment dealer operations

  • 2–3 years of relevant experience in a similar environment

Additional Details:
  • Training provided (2–3 weeks)

  • Occasional overtime required (e.g., during inventory)

  • Strong team culture and hands-on work environment

  • Supplier site visit required before onboarding
