Job summary

The Dunlin is seeking a Fleet Maintenance professional to keep our vehicles safe, reliable, and on schedule through routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and timely diagnostics. You will support daily operations by ensuring fleet readiness across our properties and guest transport teams.

In this role you will diagnose issues on engines, brakes, transmissions, and electrical systems, maintain detailed service records, and coordinate with vendors for parts and outsourced services while

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical automotive/diesel cert preferred.
  • 2+ years in vehicle maintenance or fleet operations.
  • Knowledge of safety standards and DOT vehicle inspection protocols.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on fleet vehicles.
  • Diagnose and repair engines, brakes, transmissions, and electrical systems.
  • Maintain accurate service records and vehicle history for each unit.
  • Coordinate with vendors for parts and outsourced services as needed.
  • Ensure vehicles meet safety standards and regulatory requirements.

Job Description

As a Fleet Maintenance professional, you’ll ensure every vehicle in the operation runs safely, efficiently, and on schedule through routine inspections, repairs, and diagnostics. Your expertise keeps the wheels turning and the team moving—literally powering the success of daily operations.

  • Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on all fleet vehicles to ensure safety and reliability.
  • Diagnose mechanical issues and complete necessary repairs on engines, brakes, transmissions, and electrical systems.
  • Maintain accurate service records and documentation for each vehicle to track maintenance history and compliance.
  • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for parts, repairs, and outsourced services as needed.
  • Ensure all vehicles meet regulatory and safety standards, supporting smooth and compliant daily operations.

Pay $25 - 30 / hour

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent, with technical training or certification in automotive or diesel mechanics preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in vehicle maintenance or fleet operations, with strong diagnostic and repair skills.
  • Knowledge of safety standards and regulatory compliance, including DOT regulations and vehicle inspection protocols.
Working Conditions
  • While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly exposed to outdoor weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
Physical Requirements
  • While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to sit, use hands to finger, handle or feel. Reach with hands and arms, and talk and hear. The team member frequently is required to stand and walk. The team member must regularly lift and or move up to 10 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
