Job summary

Gunter Construction Co Inc is seeking a Fleet Lube Tech to perform preventive maintenance on company trucks and equipment. You will change fluids, tires, mounts, balance tires, grease fittings, and assist mechanics on repairs.

Requires high school diploma, 1 year related experience, ability to pass DOT physical, and a Class C driver's license (A/B beneficial). The role involves indoor/outdoor work, lifting up to 50 lbs, and using mobile apps to document work orders.

Qualifications

High school graduate or equivalent.
One year of related experience.
Ability to pass DOT physical.
Class C Driver’s License (Class A or B beneficial).

Responsibilities

Perform PM services (oil changes, tire changes, tire mounting and balancing, grease fittings, change light bulbs, etc.) on vehicles
Perform PM services on equipment
Small engine repairs
Assist mechanics on larger repairs
Learn and develop skills to move up to mechanic position
Document records of service and repair work on all trucks and equipment
Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
Ability to write simple correspondence
Ability to effectively communicate information in one-on-one and small group situations with other employees of the organization.
Ability to use smartphone apps to document and close out work orders
Work around equipment that is loud and noisy
Work indoors and outdoors
Work around moving equipment
