Job summary

Okie Staffing seeks a Lube Technician to perform preventive maintenance on diesel-powered trucks and fleet vehicles, including oil changes, lubrication services, inspections, and basic maintenance tasks.

You will assist diesel technicians, document services on work orders, and maintain a clean, organized shop while following OSHA safety guidelines.

A minimum of 1 year garage experience or tech school is required, with the ability to lift up to 75 pounds and reliable attendance.

Qualifications

• Must perform physical labor in a shop environment.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn diesel systems.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.

• At least 1 year of garage experience such as tech school or related experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform oil and filter changes on diesel trucks and heavy equipment.
• Lubricate chassis, driveline, steering, and suspension components.
• Check and service fluids: engine oil, coolant, transmission, hydraulic, brake, power steering.
• Conduct preventive maintenance inspections and identify potential issues.
• Inspect tires for wear and proper inflation; replace filters as required.
• Document maintenance on work orders and maintain a clean workspace.
• Follow safety procedures and OSHA guidelines; operate shop tools safely.
