Job summary

Industrial Pallet Corporation (IPC) is seeking a Logistics Manager to oversee transportation, fleet operations, and driver management. You will lead hiring, compliance, fleet procurement, and maintenance to ensure safe, reliable, and cost-effective movement of goods.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Transportation, or related field; equivalent work experience considered.
5+ years in logistics, transportation, or fleet management with supervisory experience.
Direct experience with DOT compliance, driver qualification files, and FMCSA regulations required.
Experience with fleet procurement, lease negotiation, and asset lifecycle management preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead driver hiring, compliance, and performance management through termination when needed.
Oversee driverQualification Files, MVR checks, drug screens, and physicals.
Manage fleet procurement, leases, and asset lifecycle planning.
Coordinate sub-truck and rental equipment for peak seasons or downtime.
Negotiate freight rates and service agreements to ensure cost efficiency.
