Job summary

Emerald Coast Striping LLC in Town of Florida, NY is seeking a Fleet Lead Mechanic to oversee maintenance and repairs, perform inspections, and keep detailed repair records for fleet equipment.

Under the direction of the Fleet Manager, you will diagnose issues, lead component repairs, and ensure equipment readiness. Strong communication, reliability, and leadership are essential to keep operations running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical diagnostics and past mechanic experience.
• Three (3) years of mechanic experience.
• Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills.
• Prioritizes and uses time efficiently.
• Demonstrates a sense of urgency & Leadership in completing all tasks.

Responsibilities

• Determines vehicle condition by conducting inspections and diagnostic tests, identifying worn and damaged parts.
• Corrects vehicle deficiencies by removing, repairing, adjusting, assembling components, parts, or systems, such as, power and drive trains, electrical, air conditioning, fuel, emission, brake, steering.
• Ensures equipment availability by completing preventive maintenance schedules, installing component and part upgrades.
• Demonstrates a consistent positive attitude to support a productive work environment. Cooperates, communicates, and works well with coworkers.
• Regular and punctual attendance is required.
• Helps Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.

Position Description
