Job summary

Penske Rapid Repair, a Penske Automotive Group dealership, is seeking a Window/Glass Technician for Commercial Trucks & Fleet to diagnose, repair and replace damaged glass on a range of fleet vehicles, including delivery vans and service trucks, ensuring adherence to manufacturer standards.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in automotive, commercial truck, RV, bus, or heavy equipment glass installation preferred.
• Experience working with Class 6-8 trucks, fleet vehicles, or commercial equipment is a plus.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand and power tools.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and perform physical work throughout the day.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining quality and productivity standards.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and replace damaged glass on commercial trucks and fleet vehicles.
• Remove and install windshields, side glass, rear glass, and specialty glass components.
• Calibrate and verify vehicle systems related to glass replacement when required.
• Inspect vehicles for damage and document repair recommendations.
• Perform mobile service calls at customer locations and fleet yards as needed.
• Ensure proper use of adhesives, tools, and materials in accordance with manufacturer specifications.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Communicate professionally with customers, fleet managers, and team members.
• Complete repair orders and related documentation accurately and on time.
