Penske is hiring a Fleet Maintenance Fueler Washer at the Elgin, IL location. You will fuel, wash, and inspect vehicles to ensure they are safe before leaving the lot. No prior experience is required as comprehensive training is provided by Penske.

You’ll learn vehicle maintenance processes and use advanced technology, with opportunities to grow into a technician role within a stable, benefits-rich company.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work well as part of a team.
• Ability and willingness to work outside.
• Basic mechanical ability and tool usage (preferred).
• Basic computer skills.
• Must follow DOT, OSHA, and Penske safety policies.
• Regular, predictable attendance required.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and fuel and wash vehicles to provide a great experience.
• Perform vehicle readiness inspections (tires, fluids, etc.).
• Keep facilities clean, safe environments for customers and associates.
• Develop skills through training and hands-on coaching, perform minor repairs.
• Complete other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor.
