Job summary

US Foods is seeking a Manager, Fleet & Facility Operations - SSA to lead the maintenance and operations of all fleet and facility systems. You will develop a skilled team, optimize preventive maintenance, and partner with vendors to ensure regulatory compliance and operational uptime.

The role focuses on safety, environmental initiatives, and sustaining cold-chain integrity for perishable products across multiple sites, with oversight of budgets and capital projects.

Qualifications

• 5 years of facilities management experience.
• 3 years working with refrigeration systems within cold chain distribution.
• Proven leadership experience managing maintenance teams, budgets, and vendor contracts.
• Strong understanding of OSHA, EPA, USDA, FDA, GMP, and other regulatory compliance requirements.
• Proficiency with CMMS and basic data analytics to drive performance improvements.

Responsibilities

• Direct and monitor maintenance, sanitation, refrigeration, and security teams using PM schedules.
• Oversee refrigeration systems to maintain temperature control and cold chain integrity.
• Manage facility operations activities and capital projects with minimal distribution disruption.
• Lead safety culture and enforce company policies and PWMs.
• Coordinate with vendors for repairs, upgrades, and equipment installations.
