Job summary

Windfield Recycling is seeking an experienced Fleet & Facilities Manager to oversee maintenance and safety of our fleet across multiple locations. You will manage maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs for commercial trucks, heavy equipment, assets, and facilities.

The role requires strong organization, effective communication, and the ability to manage several projects simultaneously, while ensuring compliance with DOT and OSHA standards and coordinating with leadership, operators, and drivers.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years experience of fleet management, mechanical, and equipment maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of commercial fleet operations and compliance.
• Experience in vendor management.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented and capable of multitasking.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the maintenance and repairs of every asset across all 3 locations.
• Regularly inspect the fleet and facilities to ensure equipment is operating properly, safely, and in compliance with DOT and OSHA regulations.
• Provide routine and preventative maintenance for the fleet.
• Manage equipment acquisitions, vendor relationships, and maintenance programs.
• Work closely with Leadership, Operators, and Drivers to ensure issues are addressed, resolved, and communicated often.
• Conduct field visits to ensure facilities, teams, and equipment are operating efficiently.
• Maintain service records.

This role is responsible for ensuring that our fleet and facilities are operating efficiently so that we can best support our team and customers. Specifically, this person will be managing the maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs across our fleet including commercial trucks, heavy equipment, assets, and facilities.

This person must be highly organized, communicates effectively, and can manage multiple projects at one time.

In this role, you’ll:
