Job summary

US Foods, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Helper in Seabrook, NH. The role focuses on light repairs to production and facility equipment, battery maintenance, and supporting the maintenance team to meet site goals.

Expect Monday–Friday 8:00am–4:00pm with benefits from Day One. Earn up to $30.00/hour plus overtime; overtime, weekends, and holidays may apply based on business needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• At least 1 year experience in preventive maintenance or willingness to be trained on MHE/PM repairs.
• Willing to be trained on MHE and PM repairs.
• Able to read and follow written instructions in English.

Responsibilities

• Park and charge production equipment at shift start.
• Maintain cleanliness of the battery area.
• Water all the production equipment batteries.
• Assist with light facility and equipment repairs.
• Support the maintenance team and coordinate with operations.

Get all the details here.Daily Duties:Park and charge production equipment at the start of the shift.Maintain the cleanliness of the battery area.Water all the production equipment batteries.Responsible repairing transportation two-wheel hand dollies.Responsible for supporting the maintenance team with light facility and equipment repairs.Other facility and material upkeep as assignedQualifications/Experience:Candidates must be willing to learn materials handling equipment (MHE) and facility PM service repairs and have a willingness to be trained.Must be able to get along with co-workers and respond to repair needs throughout the shift.Work with Operations management and other departments in a positive, productive manner.Must be able to work Sunday through Thursday nights (in most locations)Must be able to work overtime, weekends, holidays as needed.Must be able to communicate in English to receive and follow directions, interface with suppliers, and complete required paperwork for maintenance performed.Positive attitude, ability to work under pressure, and good attendance are required.Good organization skills, detail orientated for accuracy.Experiences and Knowledge Required:High school diploma/GED preferredMinimum 1-year experience preferred performing preventive maintenance or must be willing to be trained on MHE and PM repairsGood interpersonal skills to establish and maintain co-worker relationshipsAbility to read and follow written instructions in EnglishAbility to work varied shifts and a flexible schedule, including nights and weekendsDemonstrated ability to maintain good attendance and punctuality on the jobPhysical Requirements:The physical demands of the job require standing for long periods of time, bending, stooping, kneeling, reaching, and lifting. Must be able to lift up to 80 lbs.Compensation depends on relevant experience and/or education, specific skills, function, geographic location, and other factors as applicable by law (for example: state minimum wage thresholds).
