Job summary

Sysco Sacramento, Inc. is seeking an Operations associate to perform routine checks of oil, fluids, tire pressure and fueling for all equipment. This role supports the fleet shop and warehouse teams to keep delivery vehicles ready for daily routes.

Responsibilities include fueling equipment daily, verifying fluid levels, assisting the fleet shop, and keeping the yard orderly. This entry-level position offers growth within a large national foodservice company.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent required.
• 1–3 months related experience and/or training.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Able to write simple correspondence.
• Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Fuel every piece of delivery equipment daily.
• Check all fluid levels of power equipment daily.
• Assist the fleet shop when needed.
• Work with fleet shop and night warehouse management to ready equipment for use.
• Wash trailers per FSQA schedule
• Keep parking lot clean and free of debris.
• Support the night truck spotters to organize the truck yard.
