Elitsac Inc. is seeking a skilled Fleet Maintenance Technician to maintain our rental fleet and delivery vehicles. This hands-on role requires reliability and the ability to work independently in a shop and yard setting.

You will diagnose, repair, and service engines and equipment, coordinate with drivers and customers, and use rental software to keep logs and parts moving. Competitive salary and benefits apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training is a plus.
• Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills for various engines and equipment.
• Experience with rental equipment or small engines.
• Ability to troubleshoot with drivers and customers.

• Self-starter who can work independently and manage priorities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, diagnose, and repair rental fleet equipment, material handling gear, and delivery trucks.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues in the shop and over the phone.
• Communicate with drivers and customers to resolve equipment problems.
• Order parts and manage repair flow efficiently.
• Use rental software and record-keeping systems for service logs.
• Keep maintenance logs and inspection documentation up to date.
• Assist with equipment inspections, yard operations, and occasional local deliveries.

Elitsac Inc. is looking for a skilled, dependable Fleet Maintenance Technician to keep our rental fleet and delivery vehicles running safely and reliably. This is a hands‑on role with real responsibility and variety - ideal for someone who takes pride in their work and can operate independently.

What You'll Do

• Maintain, diagnose, and repair:
  • Rental fleet equipment (all types)
  • Material handling equipment
  • Delivery trucks
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues both in the shop and over the phone
• Communicate with drivers and customers to help resolve equipment problems
• Work with manufacturer technical support as needed
• Order parts and manage repair flow efficiently
• Use rental software and computer systems for parts ordering and service records
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs and inspection documentation
• Help keep the shop and yard clean, organized, and safe
• Assist with equipment inspections, inventory, and yard operations as needed
• Occasionally assist with local deliveries or equipment moves

What We're Looking For:

• Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
• Experience with all types of engines and equipment repair
• Familiarity with rental equipment and/or small engines
• Comfortable troubleshooting verbally with drivers and customers
• Basic computer skills (service entries, parts ordering, rental software)
• Self-starter who can work independently and manage priorities
• Organized, reliable, and safety-focused

Nice to Have (Not Required):

• Class A CDL
• Forklift or construction equipment experience
• Previous experience in a lumber yard or rental yard environment

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license
• Ability to lift heavy materials and work in a shop and outdoor yard environment
• High school diploma or equivalent (technical or vocational training is a plus)
