Job summary

LawnWise maintenance team is seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to perform scheduled and preventative maintenance on production equipment, fleet vehicles, and specialized machinery. You will diagnose and repair mechanical systems and ensure equipment reliability to support operational efficiency.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 1–4 years automotive experience, and a valid Tennessee driver's license.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
1–4 years of automotive mechanic experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Valid Tennessee driver’s license in good standing.

Responsibilities

Inspect and repair fleet vehicle chassis and back-end systems including chemical application equipment.
Service forklifts, small engines, and specialized equipment (ride-on applicators, aerators, spreaders).
Document and submit all repairs and notes to be added to the vehicle file.
Maintain parts inventory as determined by management and keep work areas clean and organized.
Coordinate and track outsourced maintenance with vendors and service providers.
Respond to vehicle and equipment breakdowns in the field as needed.
