Job summary

Schneider National, Inc. in Green Bay, WI, is seeking an Equipment Acquisition Specialist to manage the purchase, titling, delivery and service of tractors and trailers.

You will work closely with operations, suppliers and vendors to license and register new equipment and ensure timely deployments. This role emphasizes attention to regulatory changes, accurate reporting of order statuses and inventories, and coordination across teams.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in a related field.
• Licensing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle all responsibilities associated with ordering new tractors and trailers – communicating with suppliers, issuing purchase orders, verifying specifications, etc.
• Coordinate equipment deliveries, including establishing delivery dates, coordinating in-processing and activating new units.
• Create reports for order statuses, prices, specifications and inventories.
• Dispose of equipment that is no longer producing revenue.
• Handle permits, plates and registrations that need to be renewed annually.
• Stay informed of changes to regulations and laws concerning vehicle registration and licensing.
