Location: TUNNEL HILL USX TERMINAL. Shift: Monday - Wednesday and Every other Thursday 6:00 PM-6:00 AM. Remote: No. Grade: HR10. Compensation Range: $21.01 - $24.72.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for driver satisfaction and addressing issues and disputes for drivers
- Answer incoming phone calls, live chats, and emails to assist drivers with delays, service issues, trailers, payroll, and other needs
- Fuel and route drivers while promoting driver safety
- Dispatch necessary resources (driver, truck, trailer) to resolve immediate issues
- Resolve driver issues using critical thinking to solve out‑of‑the‑box problems
- Monitor loads and resolve issues that may affect scheduled delivery/pickup times; proactively inform customer accounts of changes
- Resolve load targets and ensure on‑time delivery
- Communicate effectively and professionally with customers, operations drivers, and all leadership levels
- Assist drivers and terminal needs, and respond to emergency situations if required
- Understand and support company policies
- Keep drivers rolling safely by ensuring accurate PTAs, providing trailer solutions, planning BPMs and required appointments, maintaining CDL status, managing home time guidelines, and ensuring earnings
- Proactively work to assist others in achieving organizational objectives
Education
- High School diploma or equivalent
Experience
- 5+ years previous driving experience and/or operations and/or customer experience required
