Job summary

Clarke Vehicare is seeking a Fleet Service Technician to maintain and repair a fleet of heavy-duty trucks, trailers, MHE, and automobiles. You will perform preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and related repairs in a large shop environment with modern tools and equipment.

The role requires a certificate/degree in diesel tech and 2–4 years of related experience; ASE certifications are a plus. A valid NYS inspector license or ability to acquire one is preferred.

Qualifications

• Certificate or degree in diesel tech with 2–4 years repair experience.
• NYS Inspector license or ability to acquire.
• Valid driver's license with clean record in last 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair a dedicated Fleet of Vehicles including Heavy Duty Trucks, Trailers, MHE and Automobiles.
• Perform preventative maintenance and diagnostics, including engine, brakes, A/C, and computer diagnostics.
• Fabrication and welding of steel and aluminum; use of shop tools; document work via devices.
