Job summary

Ranger-Energy-Services- is seeking a Mechanic to repair and maintain diesel engines powering fleet trucks, tractors, trailers and tankers. You will use hand tools and machine tools, and ensure DOT compliance for a safe, roadworthy fleet.

The role requires diagnosing failures, performing repairs within standard repair times, and documenting parts usage and repair times for DOT reporting. Physical work, safety procedures, and flexibility to adapt to a fast-paced environment are essential.

Qualifications

• Two years of relevant work experience required.
• Must maintain a clean driving record and be at least 18.
• Ability to perform physical tasks (lift up to 50 pounds).

Responsibilities

• Performs annual inspections on trucks, trailers, and pickups.
• Performs repairs and preventive maintenance services.
• Inspects and repairs electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake and air systems.
• Performs DOT inspections to ensure fleet safety.
• Documents parts usage and repair times for DOT reporting.
