Ready to get your hands dirty and tackle the toughest trucks on the road? We're looking for sharp, driven diesel techs who can diagnose fast, fix right, and keep our fleet moving. If you know your way around brakes, turbos, hydraulics, and Diesel Engines, you belong with this rapidly expanding team! Salary: $63,000 - $84,000 per year

Shift: First

Work hours: 6 AM - 4 PM

Education: High School

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot/repair air brake systems (e.g., SR7, R14, R12), chambers, S-cams, slack adjusters, springs, drums, brake shoes
• Diagnose/repair cooling systems: clutch fans, radiators, water pumps, thermostats
• Service turbochargers, charge air coolers, and air conditioning systems
• Inspect/maintain air compressors and related systems
• Assist with hydraulic pump repairs and hose fabrication (training available)
• Diagnose/repair electrical systems: charging, batteries, lighting, brakes, turn signals
• Service driveline components: drive shafts, pinion seals, torque rods, transverse rods
• Maintain/troubleshoot mixer-specific equipment (training provided)
• Work independently or as part of a team
• Communicate clearly; document repairs accurately
• Remain calm and make sound decisions under pressure

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Diesel mechanic training/certification preferred
• Experience with heavy-duty trucks (mixer/vocational a plus)
• Valid driver’s license required; CDL a plus
• Must have own tools (specialty tools provided as needed)

Skills & Competencies

• Diagnostic and mechanical skills
• Able to read technical manuals, schematics, wiring diagrams
• Physically capable of lifting heavy parts, working in varied positions
• Good communication, organization, and safety awareness

Preferred (Not Required)

• Experience with hydraulics or concrete mixer components
• ASE or equivalent certification

The essential functions of this role include:

• wearing steel toe shoes
• working in a non-temperature controlled environment
• manual lifting up to 50lbs
• working up to 5 hrs of overtime per week
