Job summary

The Agents Companies in the North Nashville region seeks highly motivated mechanics to service and maintain large trucks in the foundation coating and material spreading division and help manage a fleet of over 250 vehicles. Whether in the shop or on the road, you will play a key role in maintaining our high standards for fleet performance and safety.

Essential duties include lube and automotive maintenance, safe operation of vehicles, and flexible scheduling with occasional long days.

Qualifications

• A-level technician with diesel and gas engine expertise.
• Hydraulics experience strongly preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in diesel engine repair, mechanical knowledge, and diagnostic software preferred (entry-level candidates with strong aptitude are encouraged to apply).
• Safe driving record and drug-free (must pass a drug test).
• Physically fit to meet the demands of the job.

Responsibilities

• Perform lube and automotive maintenance
• Operate vehicles safely and provide mechanical support for fleet vehicles
• Conduct maintenance tasks indoors and outdoors, with the ability to bend, climb, push, pull, twist, squat, and kneel as needed
• Lift up to 70 lbs repetitively
• Deliver excellent service to staff and customers
• Commit to a flexible schedule, with occasional 10-12 hour days as needed
• Maintain prompt, daily attendance at the assigned location
• Perform additional duties as assigned
• Pay depends on experience
