Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Five+ years of related experience.
• Must be able to pass a background check and have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, perform maintenance, and repair on light, medium, and heavy vehicles and equipment
• Service vehicles with fuel, oil, and coolant; perform preventive maintenance by checking battery, tires, coolant, oil levels, and hydraulic/brake fluids
• Perform skilled repair on gasoline-powered equipment and vehicles; replace bearings, seals, brake components, and related parts
• Repair, overhauls, replaces and rebuilds engines and components
• Diagnose, maintain and repair hydraulic systems
• Coordinate with administration and other trades to complete projects/work orders
• Maintain availability of equipment by performing and assisting in maintenance/repair
• Install and remove auxiliary equipment
• Respond to emergencies to resolve safety concerns
• Maintain tools and equipment to keep them ready for use
